Utility Approved Contractor

Arboriculture Association Utility Approved Contractor

Utility Approved Contractor is the only comprehensive accreditation scheme for professional tree surgery businesses in the United Kingdom. The new scheme, seeks to supplement existing compliance standards, e.g. RISQs for the Rail network, but is assessed by arboricultural utility industry specialists and hence adds value to the process. Every approved business has been thoroughly assessed and found competent to carry out tree work to a high standard. Assuring customers of good quality tree care undertaken safely and efficiently.

National Highway Sector Schemes

NHSS

NHSSs are integrated quality management schemes, bespoke to individual highways specialisms. They aim to make sure that work is carried out to the highest standards of professionalism, using properly trained and competent staff. NHSSs are primarily designed as complementary standards to ISO 9001 for organisations working on the UK’s road network. They’re based on the current ISO 9001:2015 framework and provide specific requirements and interpretation for maintenance and construction, inspection and interrelated activities.

Association of Landscape Contractors of Ireland

The Association of Landscape Contractors of Ireland (ALCI) was founded in 1971 as a representative body for the developing landscape sector. From its inception it has endeavoured to improve the quality and standards in the landscape industry in Ireland. ALCI has two regional offices, the Northern Region and Southern Region. ALCI is the leading professional body for landscape contractors in Ireland with over 150 members across both regions.
